With beautiful shops, cafes, and original products, the airport truly feels like a small town. Whether you’re here for a layover or just passing through, you’ll find plenty to explore.
And, of course, when you’re spending hours at the airport, there’s one thing everyone needs: Free Wi-Fi!
The airport offers Free Wi-Fi through the “IGA WIFI” network, which you can enjoy without any time limit. During a recent 6-hour layover, I had no trouble connecting and staying online for the duration, making it easy to stay connected and let loved ones know you’re safe and sound.
Here's how to connect to IGA WIFI at Istanbul International Airport:
Find a Wi-Fi Kiosk:
You’ll find internet kiosks every 100-200 meters throughout the airport.
- Enter Your Passport Information: At the kiosk, enter your passport details to receive a Wi-Fi code.
- Select the “IGA WIFI” Network: Activate the Wi-Fi on your device and connect to the “IGA WIFI” network.
- Log In with the Code: Once connected, open the portal page and click on the “Log in with code” option.
- Enter the Wi-Fi Password: Enter the password provided to you at the kiosk. This will be a series of numbers.
- Agree to the Terms of Service: Read and agree to the “Terms of Service” to continue.
And that’s it! You’re now ready to browse, chat, or work online while you wait for your flight. Your passport information is required for legal purposes, but I hope you won’t face any issues.
